Guatemala's exports are expected to grow 2.5 percent this year, according to the Economic Commission for Latin America, Eclac.
Exports are expected to grow 4.3 percent in volume, but with a 2.9 percent drop in price, said Hugo Beteta, director of Eclac for Mexico.
Even though products such as sugar, banana and garments have had a positive perfomance, other products such as coffee, cardamom and metals have seen a decrease in sales, said Beteta.
