El Salvador aims for hub of aeronautical services
El Salvador could become a hub for aeronautical services in Central America and beyond, according to a study which will be revealed today.
There are already two maintenance companies in the country: Aeroman, which serves JetBlue and Southwest Airlines, and AviancaTaca, the Salvadoran-Colombian airline which has its own maintenance service.
Spain's ALG Transportation, Infrastructure and Logistics, helped by the Salvadoran government, is studying the possibility of further developing the country's aeronautical industry.
