El Salvador and Caribbean to boost ties

The Caribbean and El Salvador have entered a “new era” of cooperation, according to CARICOM (Caribbean Community) Secretary General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque.

The Secretary General was speaking following the accreditation of a new envoy from El Salvador to CARICOM in Guyana.

The new Ambassador said it was El Salvador’s priority to “strengthen diplomatic ties and cordial relations with the organization and all of the countries of the Caribbean Region.”
