El Salvador budget means freeze on wages

El Salvador’s national budget is likely to reach $4 billion for next year, said Carlos Cáceres, the Finance minister.
But the minister said the country does not afford to grant any new salary increases or public works projects.
This year’s budget amounted to $4.5 billion, but that included a $653 million repayment of Eurobonds.
