El Salvador celebrates a decade of use of the dollar as the nation’s currency

El Salvador on Saturday completed 10 years of an economy controlled by the US currency amid please to replace the dollar.
Last November, however, President Mauricio Funes denied any plans to return to a pre-dollar currency system, though he recognized that some international agencies are ambivalent.
A poll carried out by the daily La Prensa Gráfica revealed that 51 percent of Honduras reject the dollar as the nation’s currency.
