El Salvador court considers case against ex-President

A court in El Salvador has agreed to consider a civil case against former President Mauricio Funes, his wife and one of his sons for possible illicit enrichment.

The court said that several government institutions have been ordered to hand over information related to the family's finances, properties and businesses.
