El Salvador eyes sugar exports to China
El Salvador will be able to export sugar to China from next year after the Cenrtal American country reached a deal with the World Trade Organization, WTO.
El Salvador did not export sugar to China, as the Asian giant's inclusion to the WTO meant Salvadoran exports were taxed at higher rates than the rest of the world.
China imports 15 percent of the world's total sugar trade.
