El Salvador implements trade accord with Cuba

A partial reach agreement consolidating bilateral trade between El Salvador and Cuba took effect Wednesday.

The agreement opens preferential trade conditions between both countries and creates a basis for increasing the already existing trade.

Exports from El Salvador to Cuba totalled $7.1 million last year, while imports totalled $3.4 million.
