El Salvador is Walmex's second investment destination
El Salvador is Walmart de Mexico's number two investment destination, second only to Costa Rica, according to the firm's corporate affairs director, Aquileo Sánchez.
"Several factors are involved in our investment to El Salvador, but the most important is market behavior," Sánchez said.
This year, the supermarket chain will invest $60 million in its Salvadoran operations, including a new store in Mejicanos.
