El Salvador plans legal reforms to attract investment

Thursday, May 17, 2012

The government of El Salvador will promote a series of law reforms, including the International Services Law, to improve the country's business climate and attract investment.

The laws that will be reformed are the same ones that allowed foreign investment to double in the financial, telecommunication and garment sectors.

We hope this effort will contribute to the improvement of the country's position in the World Bank's 'Doing Business' ranking, said Armando Flores, head of El Salvador's Ministry of Economy.
