El Salvador promotes culinary tourism

El Salvador will host the Food and Drink Trade SHow 2014 from May 19 to 21 this year.

The aim of the event is to promote the country as a destination for culinary tourism.

Some 3,000 gastronomy experts from El Salvador and the rest of the region are expected to attend, the Salvadoran tourism ministry said.
