El Salvador reaps financial benefits from gang truce

The gang violence which El Salvador was subject to for many years, could finally come to an end and bring economic benefits, after the country's largest rival gangs established a truce four months ago.
As a consequence of the truce, El Salvador is once again attracting international investors' attention.
"A reversal in the violence is a good sign for the economy", said Carl Ross, director of Oppenheimer & Co.
