El Salvador renews Millennium Fund bid

El Salvador once again is on the list of candidates to receive US aid from the Millennium Challenge Fund.

Among the other candidates on the list of 27 nations are Belize and Guatemala.

The current contributions from the fund are kept by El Salvador’s Fomilenio. Since 2006, $461 million has been disbursed in projects in northern El Salvador.
