Monday, February 17, 2014
El Salvador's Acajutla port handled 12 percent more cargo last year, according to the port authority.
The figure represents a little over 179,300 TEUs (20-foot containers).
Cargo handling is now the port's main source of income, despite developing its solid and liquid bulk operations.
