El Salvador's coffee exports surge in November
Coffee exports from El Salvador rose 15.6 percent in November compared with the same month a year earlier, reaching 33,438 60kg bags in the month.
The statistics come from the country's coffee authority, known as Consejo Salvadoreño de Café, CSC.
CSC said exports through the first two months of the current 2012-2013 harvesting season totaled 69,532 bags, up 31 percent compared with the same two-month period during the 2011-2012 season.
