El Salvador's construction industry is bouncing back after five years of losses

For the first time in five years, El Salvador's construction industry expects to get back into profit, with growth of 4.6 percent this year.

But the industry chamber, Casalco, makes clear that a lot more must be done to revive the housing market.

The sector's growth has been boosted mainly by state sector investment, Casalco said.
