El Salvador’s exports increased by 17.8 percent during last year to $4.5 billion

El Salvador’s exports rose by 17.8 percent last year by comparison with 2009. The 2010 total came to $4.47 billion.
Traditional exports were up by 7.6 percent to $2.08 billion.
Sales of coffee fell by 7.4 percent, but exports of sugar and shrimp rose sharply thanks to international prices.
