El Salvador's government affordable housing fund places $103 million in credits

El Salvador's government affordable housing fund plans to increase the amoiunt of its credits for new construction.

The fund aims to provide 6,300 credits this year for a total of $103 million.

Of that amount, more than 48 percent will be earmarked for new housing, according to the head of the fund, Francisco Guevara.
