El Salvador's Milennium Fund expected to meet all its targets by middle of next year

Between now and the middle of next year, El Salvador's Milennium Fund program (Fomilenio) is expected to meet all its targets for its projects in the north of the country.

Of the $425 million in the budget for the Carretera Longitudinal highway and associated social and economic projects, $421 million has already been accounted for.

The remainder of the $461 million allocated is to meet operational and administrative costs of the US aid.
