El Salvador’s Poma group boosts investment in Costa Rica in convention center plan

El Salvador’s Grupo Poma has made an initial investment in the construction of a convention center for Costa Rica.

The center will be built side by side with the Real InterContinental hotel. The aim is to make the hotel the leader in business travel.

Though there are other convention centers in Costa Rica, all are modest in size. Poma aims to attract major corporate conventions.
