El Salvador’s textile industry heads for $2 billion record

El Salvador’s textile and garment industry is forecasting record export earnings for this year.

For the year through September, the sector earned 13 percent more than it did during the same period of 2010.

Assuming that growth for the full year will be at least 10 percent, export earnings will amount to a record $2 billion.
