El Salvador's trade deficit grows 7 percent

Tuesday, January 28, 2014

El Salvador's trade deficit reached $5.28 billion at the end of last year.

The figure represents a widening in the deficit of 7 percent compared to 2012.

The growth is due to weak exports and increased imports, analyst Claudio de Rosa said.
