El Salvador seeks bids on hydro plant transformers

El Salvador's state power utility, CEL, seeks bids to supply two transformers for the Quince de Septiembre and Cinco de Noviembre hydroelectric projects on the Lempa river.

Site visits are planned to take place on January 7 and 8, 2with bids due February 11.

CEL previously took bids for slope stability analysis and reinforcement proposals for the two projects and 172 megawatt Cerrón Grande, also on the Lempa river.
