El Salvador seeks to attract low-cost airlines

El Salvador is looking at the option of modifying its airport tariffs after an increased interest from low-cost airlines to fly to the country.

The aim is to lure airlines to operate flights in less busy schedules.

El Salvador is also currently hosting Routes Americas, a summit which gathers airline executives, tourism and airport representatives.
