El Salvador seeks to boost cocoa farming

El Salvador's government, along with international not-for-profit organizations, the U.S. embassy and private sector, have joined in order to boost the country's coca production.
The aim is to invest $25 million over five years to reactivate cocoa production in 10,000 hectares.
The plan will also help farmers who wish to grow cocoa together with coffee.
