El Salvador sees 1.9 million tourists this year

El Salvador tourism authorities are expecting a total of 1.9 million visitors as the total for the whole year.

The figure is 4.8 percent higher compared with last year's total.

Visitors are expected to spend $1.1 billion this year during their stay in the Central American country.
