El Salvador sees 93,000 tourists for Easter

Some 93,000 tourists are expected to visit El Salvador during this year's Easter vacations, according to the country's Tourism Ministry.

The figure represents a 4.5 percent growth compared to the same period last year.

The ministry said those tourists would spend some $53 million in less than a month during the Easter period, 6.9 percent more than the same period in 2013.
