Eletrobras seels stake in Nicaragua's Tumarin

Brazil’s Eletrobras, one of the world’s biggest electricity companies, has sold its stake in the Tumarín hydroelectric project in Nicaragua for $44.2 million.
Tumarín is slated to have a generating potential of 253 megawatts. It is located in the Autonomous Region of the Southern Caribbean and will provide 27 percent of Nicaragua’s energy needs.
