Empresa Nacional de Energia Electrica likely to impose power cuts soon

Brown-outs and black-outs cannot be ruled out in Honduras. The generating plan of the state power company, Empresa Nacional de Energia Electrica, is out of synch.

 

As a result, the government is likely to be obliged to make power cuts.

 

Problems do not only lie with the existing capacity. The state company’s plans for expansion are failing to meet their targets.
