Energy projects in Honduras face uncertainty

New investments in Honduras's energy sector face uncertainty as the country plans to implement a new energy law.
The law seeks to end the country's energy firm ENEE's monopoly over the sector, while bids for new projects will have to be made through a new government institutions that has yet to be created.
According to authorities, the transition process could take up to three years.
