Engie aims to build gas pipeline to Yucatán

French-based energy company Engie will build a 16-kilometer gas pipeline in Mexico to connect the Yucatan Peninsula to the national pipeline system.

The infrastructure expects to reduce the lack of natural gas that the state plants of the Federal Electricity Commission, one of the areas with the most expensive electricity rates in the country, Expansión informs.
