Tuesday, March 5, 2013

Jobs are expected to go at a media company in Suffolk, England, after Vitec Videocom announced plans to transfer work to Central America within the next year.

The company, which makes products for broadcasting and film, said it wanted to move some of its assembly work to its facility in Costa Rica.

A spokesperson said the company employed about 220 people in Bury St Edmunds but did not know how many would be affected by the changes.
