Envoy says Panama will be lifted from tax evasion list

French Ambassador to Panama Philippe Casenave is confident that Panama will be removed from the list of non-cooperative countries in the field of tax evasion, which enters into force on January 1.

The French government announced the inclusion of Panama on the list after revelations about the activities of the law firm Mossack Fonseca were made public.
