Europe offers Panama $50 million loan for water treatment

The European Investment Bank has signed a $50 million loan to support an investment program to improve water quality and sanitation conditions in the Burunga, district of Panama.

Supporting the national Panama Sanitation Project, the loan will enable the construction of a wastewater collection and treatment system, sewerage networks, pumping stations and new household connections.
