Europe overtakes the United States as importer of fresh fruits from Honduras

Europe has overtaken the United States as an importer of fresh fruits, the central bank reports.
During the first quarter, Europe imported $406.4 million of bananas, melons and watermelons from Honduras.
In second place was the United States, reporting a value of $344.2 million equivalent to 30.4 percent of the total.
