European tourists are coming

Costa Rica will soon have two new connections, with KLM flying between San José and Amsterdam starting October 31, while Edelweiss Air, a Lufthansa subsidiary, will fly from Zurich as of this week.

Air Europa for its part last week started a weekly flight between Madrid and San Pedro Sula, the first non-stop, direct connection between Europe and Honduras.

A subsidiary of Spanish tourism and hospitality group Globalia Corporación Empresarial, S.A., Air Europa Líneas Aéreas, S.A.U. is Spain’s third largest airline after Iberia and Vueling.

British Airways and Air France recently started direct, non-stop service to San José from London and Paris, respectively,

Turkish Airlines last year inaugurated an Istanbul-Bogota-Panama flight.
