European Union offers Honduras $2.5 million for disaster prevention and relief

The European Union will provide Honduras $2.5 million for disaster prevention and relief, Honduras' Emergency Permanent Commission said.
Together with the commission, the union will help build disaster prevention and relief capacities in areas vulnerable to disasters in Honduras.
The emergency commission will be responsible for establishing watering and early alert systems and launching information campaign.
