Expocomer comes to a successful close: trade chamber

The 32nd edition of the Expocomer came to a "successful close" last weekend in Panama, according to the country's trade and industry chamber.

"Polls reveal an interest from foreign firms to invest," the chamber said in a statement.

During the inauguration last Wednesday, Panama's Trade Minister Ricardo Quijano said he expected the event to generate about $90 million in business deals, higher than the $80 million a year before.
