FAA upgrades Nicaragua's air safety rating

The Federal Aviation Authority of the US announced that Nicaragua now complies with International Civil Aviation Organization safety standards and has been granted a Category 1 rating.

Nicaragua's air carriers that are able to secure the requisite authority now can operate service to the U.S. and carry the code of U.S. carriers.
