Farm products yield $4 billion a year in exports for Honduras

Exports of farm products generated export earnings of $4 billion for Honduras last year, an annual increase of 6 percent.

Growth was particularly strong in the case of coffee, of which Honduras is the region's leading exporter. But there were substantial increases in palm oil, shrimp, sugar, bananas, vegetables and melons.
