Fears caused by growing crime boost security industry in Costa Rica

The growth in crime in Costa Rica has boosted the businesses of personal, residential and commercial protection.

The second edition of the Expo Seguridad trade fair that concluded last week registered a 90 percent growth since the first fair.

Most of the visitors said that the lack of security is very much a reality, reflecting big attendances for lectures at the event.
