Federation of Tourism Chambers of Central America seeks more connectivity

Juan Carlos Ramos, president of the Federation of Tourism Chambers of Central America (Fecatur) reported that his organization’s strategies include attracting more visitors, longer stays and the development of tourism among the region’s nations.

 

Ramos said that the prices of air tickets within the region are relatively high. “Travel costs are restricting our opportunities,” he added.

 

“What we need is to work together with Taca (the leading regional airline) so that prices can be more affordable.”
