Fierce debate in Costa Rica over government 'achievements'

As Carlos Alvarado of the Costa Rican ruling party, the PAC, heads for the second round of the presidential election, a fierce debate has arisen over the current administration's boast of what it rates as 10 areas where matters have improved in the economy.

The opposition countered that the claims may amount too glitter but they certainly do not represent gold.
