Firms invest $137 million in social investment

Social investment in Central America by private firms and individuals is expected to amount to $137 million this year.

That represents a 25 percent annual increase. Even so the figure is en underestimate because about a quarter of the companies consulted did not respond to a questionnaire on the issue.
