Tuesday, May 3, 2011

Some 10,000 jobs are likely to be created in the tobacco industry of Honduras. The jobs are expected to be created by five foreign investors.

The investment decisions were announced in the wake of the Humo Jaguar festival that was attended by 50 visiting tobacco companies.

Ironically, the festival coincided with the imposition of stern anti-smoking laws by the Honduran authorities.
