Florida’s Port Manatee forges links with El Salvador

Officials in Port Manatee, Florida are exploring ways to strengthen commercial ties with El Salvador businesses through a collaboration with the Salvadoran American Chamber of Commerce of Florida and the Hispanic Commerce Coalition.

On Thursday, officials of the groups took in presentations at a Manatee County Port Authority meeting and toured the port and the International Trade Hub, a port spokeswoman said.
