Food prices fall in Panama

A report of Panama’s Ministry of Economy and Finance said that the prices of 52.5 percent of the foods that make up the basic basket fell during the month of August.

According to the report, the cost of the food basket, which includes 59 staple foods, fell $2.67 from July to August. The current monthly price is $309.41.
