Forbes Energy to recruit 2,500 workers in Honduras

Forbes Energy, owned by Lucien Forbes, will launch a project today to produce ethanol by using sugar cane in Honduras.

The company is part of a group interested in green energy, communication and shipping in countries such as Nigeria, Brazil and Russia.

Forbes plans to create some 2,500 jobs with the project in Honduras, to harvest 100,000 hectares of sugarcane. The project also includes the construction of a 165 megawatt electricity plant.
