Foreign direct investment in El Salvador plummets to $72 million
Friday, December 17, 2010
Foreign direct investment in El Salvador shows no sign of recovery. What is not clear is whether the problem is caused mainly by continued uncertainty in international markets or by domestic turbulence.
In all of this year, only 14 foreign companies have invested in El Salvador.
Their investments come to a total of $72 million, a tiny fraction of the amounts in recent years.
