Tuesday, July 22, 2014
Two foreign firms, including China Machine New Energy Corporation, are analyzing the possibility of investing in a coal electricity plant in Honduras.
The project would be a private initiative under the country's new electricity industry law, said Emil Hawit, director of Honduras's ENEE electricity firm.
The new law states that new projects must compete in a supply and demand market.
